The Cricket Board President of Bangladesh- Nazmul Hasan announced on Sunday, July 28th that Bangladesh is all set to host the next ICC meeting where (probably) the elections of the sports governing body can held.

In November 2022, the ICC‘s relying Chairman, Greg Barclay was unanimously appointed as the chairman for a two-year term for the second time. Later this year his tenure is scheduled to end. Barclay has contributed to ICC in many areas. Under his direction, the ICC survived a difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from this, the ICC faced other international issues.

Nazmul Hasan the President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed the news about the upcoming ICC meeting and the potential elections.
